The week starting September 20th, 350.org is organizing a Global Climate Strike , in association with Fridays For Future , to show global leaders that the time to act is now. A tree from Norway

In a tradition dating back to 1945 when Britain helped Norway with some war troubles, as a sign of appreciation, they have given us a very large tree for Christmas each year. Last night was the planting ceremony as the 30 foot tree arrived on a low loader, previously owned by Coca Cola, and was lovingly raised into position by the community heckling our builder Billy. The Right Reverend CoffeeQueen knelt in prayer to offer blessings to our tree and for peace all over the world, and a pony for everyone
