When my friends suggested visiting Sasuke Ramen at County Hall on the Southbank for a pre-theatre quick bite, I had the impression this would be the kind of one-man operation, cosy noodle bar you frequently see on the streets of Tokyo . The elegant wooden bar top is perfectly polished with friendly staff poised to serve and offering one of the most extensive selections of craft beers you will find in the local area.

The serene surroundings and charming atmosphere were easy to warm to.
